Everyone is invited to bring in non-perishable food items and set them on the communion table as an offering to God. Financial donations can be placed in the basket on the table. Everything we raise will go toward F.I.S.H. food pantry to serve hungry families in the local area.
During our worship gathering (right before the sermon) kids and youth will be invited to bring their backpacks or school bags to the front of the church. Pastor and the congregation will pray that God would bless them and protect them as they begin school. They will also get a key chain size item they can clip on their backpack to remind them all year that they are loved and supported by their church family.
Come visit our booth, buy some art, or sign-up to volunteer! This is one of the best events of the year. We'll be collaborating with We Care Art and United Rehabilitation Services to sell art created by local artists who have acquired and developmental disabilities. A great way to raise awareness of these great organizations and put some money in the pockets of the artists as well.
Join us as we celebrate the Fathers God has placed in our lives! This special worship gathering will have:
1) A time when the congregation prays a special blessing over the Fathers in our midst, whether biological, adopted, or spiritual fathers,
2) A prayer for those who might be grieving the loss of a father, a child, or may want biological children, but are unable.
3) A Father's Day Sermon: Top Five Worst Fathers in the Bible & Why You're a Better Father than You Might Realize
4) Father's will be given a small (but nice!) gift to take home with them!
Kickoff the Spring season with our first annual Trinity Sunday Potluck & Sending Ceremony! Since our name is Trinity it only makes sense we make Trinity Sunday a big deal at our church! During worship we'll celebrate God's being a trinity and hear what that may teach us about love, diversity, and creativity being at the heart of who God is. After church we will have a potluck and a prayer of sending asking God to bless the many activities and events that we will be doing as a church and as individuals during the Spring and Summer.
Come join Pastor Brian for a time of canine camaraderie and feline frivolity. Trinity will have our own booth and be offering free pet blessings to God's creatures big and small. Post a picture on facebook of your pet with Pr Brian and get a free pet scarf courtesy of our church!
Join us as we celebrate the mothers God has placed in our lives! This special worship gathering will have:
1) The congregation will pray a special blessing over the mothers in our midst, whether birth mothers, adopted mothers, spiritual mothers,
2) A prayer for those who might be grieving the loss of a mother, a child, or may want biological children, but are unable.
3) A Mother's Day Sermon: 5 Overlooked Mom's in the Bible & What They Teach can Us
4) Mother's will be given a small (but nice!) gift to take home with them!
Stop by for a casual time of conversation about areas where spiritual things and real life intersect. Everyone is invited to share their views and experiences. In fact, a variety of perspectives make for better conversation! Each month is a new topic to explore and Pastor Brian will be on hand to help us see what the Bible does (or doesn’t) say about it.
Stop by for Easter Sunday worship like you've never seen it before! Here at Trinity, God has us working to create a better way of being a church, a way that is down-to-earth, open-minded, caring, and others-focused. We are inviting those in the Northmont area to experience a church where you don't have to feel fake or judged or bored or like you're being told not to think for yourself. Trinity welcomes you... the real you!
Join us for a time of worship as we reflect upon Jesus' death and what it means for each of our lives today. Typically a somber yet sweet worship gathering that acknowledges the cross as a symbol of both horrific suffering and the greatest act of love the world will ever know.
Kickback and relax with a good movie, good food, and great friends! You are encouraged to invite people you know! Remember, this is about having some fun and getting to know each other a bit better. They don't have to be interested in going to our church. Invite ANYBODY and everybody.
