Our goal is to have a worship experience that anyone can enjoy and participate in, whether they are walking in off the street with no church background, or a lifelong time churchgoer who enjoys the nostalgia of hearing their favorite hymn once in a while. How?
Music with a 'modern radio' sound.
Music used for worship should be allowed to evolve and change with music in the broader culture. That way it can continue to speak to the hearts of as many people as possible.
Avoiding needlessly difficult language.
There is a fine line between being poetic/spiritual and being confusing.
An occasional hymn, but with a twist.
Every now and then, we enjoy singing a popular old hymn. When we do, we try to give it a modern twist to fit our church's style.
